Therme Group’s vision is to create the world’s most advanced wellbeing resorts, achieved by harnessing the complex interplay of nature, technology and culture.
Therme Manchester will deliver a unique wellbeing experience immersed within an expansive, multi-zoned, tropical environment with a vision to “reconnect to yourself, others and nature whilst having a great time doing it.”
Set to welcome 1.7 million guests in its first year, guests at Therme Manchester will enjoy a year-round 33°C indoor climate made possible with a sustainable glass infrastructure amid warm water lagoons, botanical gardens and palm trees.
Our spacious resort combines the ancient practice of healing thermal water with multi-sensory sauna experiences, steam rooms, water slides, wave pools and affordable luxury spa, health and fitness therapies.
With an emphasis on affordability and accessibility, the resort is zoned to create opportunities for personalised experiences, connected by a state-of-the-art on-demand locker system driven by RFID wristbands, also utilised to purchase additional goods and services throughout the resort.
With nature and water at the heart, guests can relax amongst hundreds of species of plants, luxurious vegetation and botanical gardens with direct access to the outdoors alongside the convenience of onsite food and beverage for all ages, preferences and occasions curated by renowned chefs, sustainability experts and registered nutritionists. Guests will discover balanced and thoughtful restaurants, cafés and pool bars for unforgettable dining experiences and food stories.
Driven by a commitment to sustainability, community partnerships, and the implementation of arts, culture and technology, Therme Manchester will be the first of its kind in the UK, bringing to the community the benefits of nature, water and health & wellbeing in an urban setting.
Sitting at the heart of the community, Therme Manchester will facilitate and support initiatives across wellbeing, education, arts and culture, and a key enabler to this will be through our community partnerships programme.
The Therme Manchester team are already actively engaged in developing this programme with activations that have included:
Therme Art collaborated with the Manchester International Festival in 2021 and 2023, commissioning artist Jeppe Hein (2021) to deliver “Breathe with Me,” a participatory artwork inviting over 900 local school children to realise a breathing exercise followed by a face painting that depicted their feelings.
Partnering as title sponsor of the Manchester Marathon in 2021 & 2022, promoting active and healthy lifestyles across Greater Manchester.
